What happens at PTO meetings?
We discuss upcoming events, projects, and volunteer opportunities, vote on initiatives and spending, as well as receive updates from the school administration. Bring your questions and feedback and let your voice be heard!
What if I can't join the PTO meetings?
Because PTO meetings are held during school hours, not all parents and teachers can join. Copies of meeting minutes are always available, and don't hesitate to reach out to any of our board members to discuss your questions and feedback.
At the beginning of the school year, the PTO budget is presented and voted on at the first PTO meeting. Any changes to the budget throughout the school year are presented and voted on at subsequent PTO meetings.
The KWC PTO is organized and operated exclusively for educational and charitable purposes that meet requirements to be tax-exempt under Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(3). Our bylaws describe how our organization operates.
