Our Mission and Our Goals
We strive to strengthen, enhance, and encourage the educational and social environment of Kenneth W. Culbert Elementary School. We aim to complement the school curriculum with additional opportunities for parents, teachers, and students to learn, communicate, and grow.
Before each school year, the PTO works together with the school to determine ways to enrich the educational and social experience of all the children at KWC. What we aim to do is based on our yearly budget and relies on our ability to meet our fundraising goals.

Meetings
All parents and teachers are invited to attend our monthly PTO meetings. There are no membership requirements to join- every KWC parent and teacher is automatically a member of the PTO.
NEW MEETING TIME! Every other month starting in Sept on the 3rd Wed of the month @ 2:45 in the staff lounge.
If you missed a meeting, you can access the minutes here:
What happens at PTO meetings?
We discuss upcoming events, projects, and volunteer opportunities, vote on initiatives and spending, as well as receive updates from the school administration. Bring your questions and feedback and let your voice be heard!
What if I can't join the PTO meetings?
Because PTO meetings are held during school hours, not all parents and teachers can join. Join virtually!
Email secretary@kwcpto.org for a copy of the meeting minutes.
Budget
At the beginning of the school year, the PTO budget is presented and voted on at the first PTO meeting. Any changes to the budget throughout the school year are presented and voted on at subsequent PTO meetings.
Bylaws
The KWC PTO is organized and operated exclusively for educational and charitable purposes that meet requirements to be tax-exempt under Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(3). Our bylaws describe how our organization operates.
